Successful First CRT(NZ) Training Session – A Proud Moment for Our Team and Community

CRT(NZ) is proud to share that we have successfully completed our very first training session under the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Community Resilience Hub (CRH) deployment. This significant milestone marks the beginning of a stronger, more connected community response capability.

The training brought together 14 dedicated volunteers, all committed to ensuring we can provide safe, effective, and compassionate support when emergencies and disruptions occur. Team members gained hands-on experience in setting up and operating CRHs, practicing the procedures outlined in our SOP, and discussing the important role we play in supporting community members during challenging times.

This has been a long time in the making, and we are thrilled to have finally reached this important milestone. We look forward to building on this success, growing our team further, and continuing to support our community with confidence and care.

A massive thank you goes to all who have supported us along this journey. In particular, we extend our deepest appreciation to Ray White for their ongoing support of our efforts. Their partnership and commitment to community well-being are invaluable.

If you are passionate about community support and resilience, we warmly invite you to join us as a volunteer. By being part of CRT(NZ), you’ll gain valuable skills, make a difference, and contribute to a safer and stronger community. Together, we are building a more resilient, connected, and prepared community—one training at a time. Thank you to all who participated and supported our first training session—we look forward to welcoming even more of you to the team!
